IAHR副主席、悉尼科技大学James Ball教授为张建民教授颁发证书 Abstract: In this topic, from the practical case of cavitation damage in water conservancy projects, the main hydraulic causes of cavitation damage and the main methods for reducing the cavitation erosion are analyzed. On the basis of the demonstration about the limitations of traditional experimental techniques and theoretical analysis methods, a kind of meso-hydraulic theoretical analysis method and its experimental system are proposed to study meso-scale motion such as the interaction of bubbles and cavitation bubbles. In this topic, the effects of cavitation bubble collapse, the interaction of cavitation bubbles and air bubbles, the interaction of cavitation bubbles and sand particles have been studied. Some important meso physical processes and mechanism of cavitation are clearly revealed. These obtained results have important theoretical guiding significance for improvement and development of cavitation prevention and control technique in hydraulic engineering.
